The Mission

To cure & prevent disease. To improve quality of life for all citizens. To champion the citizens and family members of those impacted by life threatening disease, degenerative illness and other chronic life compromising health conditions. The Cure Party movement will spearhead a purely grassroots effort to find better treatments, safer vaccines and the cures for our nation’s most dangerous diseases. The party will also work to improve quality of life issues for impacted individuals and families.
The Cure Party will propose new legislation specifically designed to address the various maladies of the people. The movement will also push to approve stagnant pending legislation for programs which promote a healthy, meaningful, and productive life for people and families impacted by illness & disease. The people of the United States of America deserve a second chance at life, and the Cure Party will fight for that second chance.

To Champion Disease

Certainly we all have a mountain to climb. There is strength in numbers and together we can find a way.
​
There are many with manageable diseases who struggle yet successfully make their way through the ups and downs of daily life. They work, play, have families and thankfully make progress.
The number of people impacted by life threatening disease, degenerative illness and other chronic life compromising health conditions is staggering. Currently great numbers of good people are struggling to see tomorrow, next month and next year. Likewise some of these diseases follow a long slow degenerative timeline which not only impacts the person who has been diagnosed but also the entire family. Many people with chronic life compromising conditions cannot always manage their issues through diet, treatments, procedures, vaccines, or cures and struggle to make the best of their situations. Many normally hard working people have lost jobs due to their illness, or find that their jobs are in peril because they must stay home to care for a loved one impacted by disease. Many families of modest means struggle to keep their home and loved ones above water while drowning in medical and care costs. These are all people with their very lives and livelihoods on the line.
Imagine for a moment, the leaps and bounds we could make toward finding the answers we seek if only we would perform as a single unified movement of voters driven to save ourselves and those who struggle like we do. The collective strides and improvements we could make as a nation would be astronomical if the impacted could be once again made healthy and proudly return to work. The personal income, savings and spending would drive a welcome serge back into our economy. If only we could solve the serious health issues which impact millions of our families.

Although there are many diseases, illnesses and conditions to be championed, here are just twelve to mention a few; Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Cancer, Diabetes, and Heart Disease which impact massive numbers of people. There are also less pervasive, or rare diseases and conditions which are equally as dangerous or life complicating but don’t get the attention they need to help solving them, for example Multiple Sclerosis, MPS, Niemann-Pick Disease, ALS, Hydrocephalus, Epilepsy, Autism and so many others.

We live in an age graced by super science, technology, and information at our fingertips. Our citizens have the talent, expertise and intelligence to turn the stuff of dreams into reality, We number in the millions, and our impact has clearly given us the motivation to make a positive difference in the nation and the world beyond. Never before in the history of mankind have we had so much skill and potential to cure the ills which bind us. But, as always change does not come easy. We have got to stand up and fight for it. We have got to fight to save ourselves.
